Join us for a one-day workshop at beautiful Kimbri Farm (just over the Blue Mountains) - a day of hands on learning in all things food styling and photography with some of the industry best. Photographer Jeremy Simons and stylist David Morgan are a stellar team, having worked together on three of the wonderful Valli Little's Delicious Cookbooks and countless editorial features for both location and studio based work for titiles such as Delicious, Inside Out, Fresh Magazine and Taste Magazine etc. More recently we worked with the amazing Olivia Andrews for her book Healthy Thermo Cooking.
Jeremy has been shooting food and lifestyle for 15 years, it's a passion thats seen him work with some of the top chefs in the country. On a commerical level Jeremy continues to work some of the best publishing houses around Australia and some of his regular ad clients include Cobram Estate, Moro Olive OIl, a2 MILK, Pernod Ricard Wine makers and Woolworths. Host Sophie Hansen, is a food writer, blogger and cookbook author and lover of hosting workshops like these.
We will approach the day as if it’s a shoot for one of the major food magazines with Sophie cooking, David styling and Jeremy shooting and our small group of workshop participants learning, styling and shooting with us. At the end of the day we’ll have a beautiful 8-page story done and dusted. And you will go home with a memory card (or iPhone) full of beautiful images, all the recipes we cooked and shot, tips on editing and laying out images for a blog or e-book, and most importantly - lots of new skills in styling and photography straight from these incredible teachers. Plus of course we will share a beautiful lunch together in the garden, morning tea and all the rest. I am SO excited about this one.
